ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent not to change the post of President of Manaduthandupathu Panchayat to Scheduled Caste Category, which is now under General Category, based on the representation of the petitioner and others dated 28.09.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is inclined to go before the authorities concerned afresh, seeking the aforesaid prayer, for which, the petitioner is also inclined to submit a fresh representation.

4. Granting such liberty, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
