Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2016 to measure the petitioner's land in S.No.215/11 in Paiyur Pillaivayal Village Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District to the extent of 5 cents.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his application, dated 05.12.2016, to measure the land in S.No.215/11 in Paiyur Pillaivayal Village Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District to the extent of 5 cents. 2.

Having given the said representation only on 05.12.2016, the petitioner has approached this Court and filed this writ petition without even waiting for the concerned official to act on his representation, within a reasonable time. In any event, as the petitioner is seeking only for consideration of his representation, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.12.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

opportunity of hearing to the rival claimants. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
