ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose off the proceedings in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.1814/2016-1E3, within a time frame. 2.The petitioner is the hereditary trustee of A/M Kalyana Murugan Temple @ Nithyananda @ Malaiarasan Temple and he has been declared as hereditary trustee the said temple in O.A.No1/2003 dated 01.11.2004.

While so, by proceedings in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.1814/2016-1E3 dated 30.04.2016, he was placed under suspension by the respondent on certain charges and the petitioner has challenged the suspension in W.P(MD)No.17727 of 2016 and the same is pending. Subsequently, the respondent initiated enquiry proceedings but the same were not proceeded with. Despite the request of the petitioner to conduct the enquiry, the respondent did not proceed with the enquiry, stating that until the disposal of W.P(MD)No.17727 of 2016, enquiry cannot be proceeded with. Hence, this writ petition.

3.Having regard to the limited relief sought for, the authority concerned is directed to commence the enquiry, and to complete the same as expeditiously as possible. The enquiry shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be conducted on day-to-day basis and shall not be adjourned beyond seven working days at any point of time.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
