PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint made by the fourth respondent herein.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the police not to harass the petitioner basing on a representation alleged to have been made by the fourth respondent.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the fourth respondent is stated to have filed a representation before the police against the petitioner in respect of that, respondent No.2 has been calling the petitioner from time to time and harassing him.
3. It is submitted by learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that basing on a complaint given by the fourth respondent, the third respondent Police have registered the same as C.S.R.No.144 of 2023 and after making enquiry, the said petition was closed and subsequently, nothing is pending in the office of respondent No.3 Police. However, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the second respondent / the Assistant Commissioner of Police has been directing the petitioner to attend his office in respect of the same complaint. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) further submits that after closure of the petition in C.S.R.144 of 2023, the respondent No.4 has approached the second respondent, alleging that his 2/4
representation has not been properly disposed of and in the said context only, the petitioner was asked to appear before the second respondent Office. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has reported that within a period of two weeks the representation, which was alleged to have been reopened by the second respondent will be closed after enquiry, The same is recorded.
