ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the refusal check slip dated 13.03.2024 and consequently direct the respondent to register the cancellation of sale agreement.

2. Since the subject property is claimed as Waqf property, the respondent ought to conduct an enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner, the Waqf and Tamil Nadu Waqf Board, as per the judgment rendered in Sudha Ravi Kumar and another Vs. Special Commissioner and Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Chennai, reported in 2017 (3) CTC 135 (DB) and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
