Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to take necessary action with regard to the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2024 and 19.07.2024 by following the Principles of Natural Justice, within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to take necessary action with regard to the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2024 and 19.07.2024 within a specific time.

3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner is working as a Salesman in the fourth respondent Cooperative Society. The petitioner came to understand that he was transferred to some other Taluk Ration Shop, which is far away from the Ration Shop where he is presently placed. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation to the fourth respondent on 05.07.2024 to consider his request and place him in any of the Ration Shops opted by him as he is a physically challenged person. But the said representation has not been considered so far by the fourth respondent. Hence, he filed this writ petition.

5. Since the petitioner has given representation, it is incumbent on the fourth respondent to consider the same. Accordingly, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2024 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of 3/5

receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
