Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent i.e Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary to Government Agricultural Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture in his memo No. Vi.Pa.Pi1/36573/2011 dated 12.07.2012 on merits and in accordance with law since all the process are already over even on 10.02.2015.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture in his memo No.Vi.Pa.Pi.1/36573/2011, dated 12.07.2012 on merits and in accordance with law.

2.Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the the 1st respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, 1st respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture in his memo No.Vi.Pa.Pi.1/36573/2011, dated 12.07.2012 on merits and in accordance with law, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order preferably on or before 15.03.2017.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
