ORDER

This Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission after dispensing with notice on the fourth respondent as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against the fourth respondent.

The petitioner is before this Court for a Mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2025 not to provide electricity connection to the fourth respondent for the property in Survey No.126/2A2A, Nochiyurani Revenue Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk,

3. It is noticed that the fourth respondent had also approached this Court in W.P.(MD).No.9993 of 2025 for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide electricity connection at her residence in Survey No.126/2, Nochiyurani Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District based on her

representation dated 27.03.2025. The Writ Court disposed of the said Writ Petition on 09.04.2025 with the following observations: "5. In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as well as all the other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the second respondent to consider the same on its own merits.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs."

4. Now, the petitioner has given a representation on 06.05.2025.

5. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the representation of the fourth respondent is under active consideration. He submits that the representation of the petitioner will also be considered and disposed.

6. Recording the above submission and considering the fact that already, the representation of the fourth respondent is under consideration pursuant to the order dated 09.04.2025 passed in W.P.(MD).No.9993 of 2025, the third respondent shall endeavour to complete the enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible after hearing the petitioner and the fourth respondent.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
