Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records including the Selection Committee's proceedings transmitted from the place of Selection viz. Chennai along with the Attendance Register of candidates who attended for the selection of Notaries for the State of Tamilnadu which was conducted in Chennai during September and October 2018 and to quash the proceedings of the second respondent in Appeal No.16/Addl.Secy.(ZH)/NC/RTI 2019 - online Appeal No.MOLAW/A/2019/60003, dt.10.05.2019 and the order of the third respondent F.No.R-21/33/2019-NC, dated 01.04.
2019 as illegal, arbitrary and lacking in transparency and direct the first respondent to furnish the information - Extract of the Selection Committee's Proceedings and consequently re-consider the case of the petitioner for nominating / appointing as a Notary. ORDER
Mr. S.Manohar, learned Counsel on record for the writ petitioner and Mr.P.Subbiah, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, who accepts on behalf of all the three respondents lead by Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned Senior Counsel and Assistant Solicitor General of India are before this Court.
2. After some arguments, learned Counsel for writ petitioner sought permission to withdraw this writ petition and learned Counsel has made an endorsement in the case file, which reads as follows:
"Writ Petition is withdrawn."
3. In the light of the endorsement in the case file and reiteration of the same, instant Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed.
