O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to call for records relating to impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 22.09.2021, and quash the same as illegal and directing the 2nd respondent herein to grant permission and provide necessary police protection to conduct the "Maperum Kabadi Potti" on 30.09.2021 and 01.10.2021 at the N.G.O. Nagar, Thirumangalam town and Taluk, Madurai District.

2.It is seen that due to the COVID-19 protocol and the guidelines issued by the Government, all the temple festivals and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.17635 of 2021 the cultural programmes have been prohibited. So, after the situation becomes normal in future, the petitioner may revive his request.

3.With the aforesaid liberty, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
