O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction the third respondent to survey and demarcate the property purchased by the petitioners under the sale deed dated 06.03.2008 registered as 454/2008 bearing New Natham Survey No.677/4 (Old Natham Survey No.446), situated at Meenkashiapuram, Panaiyur Village, Sankarankoil Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioners' representation dated 22.05.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an online representation dated 22.05.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners, appropriate steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/Tahsildar to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
