PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 1099 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who were arrested on 30.07.2022 for the alleged offences under Section 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.1099 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that while the respondent police was in routine check the petitioner herein was found in possession of 72 numbers of liquor bottles. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 30.07.2022. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation of the case is pending.

CRL OP(MD). No.14450 of 2022 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the period of incarceration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. sd/- 11/08/2022 / TRUE COPY / 12/08/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
