O R D E R
The petitioner has come forward with this petition, seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide employment to the petitioner under compassionate ground on her representation dated 07.10.2014.
2. The case of the petitioner is that her father joined the services of the Tamil Nadu Police Department on 01.04.1981 and he died on 16.03.2012 due to heart attack, leaving behind his three legal heirs, namely, wife, son and daughter; that her mother and brother already gave her no objection to seek employment on compassionate ground and the petitioner also sent a proposal to the respondents 1 & 2 many times from 2012 onwards; that she made her representation well in advance, i.e., before expiry of three https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
years; that in this regard, she has given a representation dated 07.10.2014 to the respondents 1 & 2 and the same is kept pending with them without passing any orders thereon and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the respondents 1 and 2 are prepared to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass suitable orders on the same within the time so specified by this Court.
4. Once a representation has been received by the respondents, it is their bounden duty to decide the same. Therefore, considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the concerned respondent, who is competent to pass orders in this matter, to consider the representation dated 07.10.2014, submitted by the petitioner and to take a decision thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
