ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner was granted assignment as early as on 09.07.1992. The District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai issued communication dated 14.07.2016 addressed to the Tahsildar, Thirunmayam to carry out the assignment in the village accounts and other revenue records. Challenging the same, one K.Pandidurai filed W.P(MD)No.9626 of 2017. The writ petition was dismissed on 15.03.2018 by the Hon'ble Division Bench.

3.I therefore safely conclude that communication issued by the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai mandating the Tahsildar, Thirumayam has become final. The Tahsildar, Thirumayam is directed to implement the communication dated 14.07.2016 of the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai. This of course shall be subject to outcome of any civil proceedings that might have been initiated or might be initiated by the concerned parties.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
