O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament from 24.12.2016 at 08.00 am onwards till 25.12.2016 10.00 pm, day and night matches to be held at Sports Ground at Chellayeepuram, Pachamalaiyankottai Post, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representation to the respondent, dated 15.12.2016. 2.Mr.K.P.Krishnadass, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner sent several representation to the

respondent for granting permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament, but the respondent die not consider the representation. Hence, he prayed that suitable direction may be given to the respondent for grant of permission and protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament. 5.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) has contended that the petitioner has written a letter to the respondent police stating that they have known about the rejection order passed by the respondent and hence, the petitioner has known the rejection order passed by the petitioner. Hence, the petition filed by the petitioner has to be dismissed.

6.On perusal of the records, advertisement issued by the Kabadi Club shows that the tournament will be conducted in the presence of the Inspector of Police, attached to the respondent police. It shows that the petitioner without the consent of the respondent, printed such type of advertisement, including the name of the Inspector of Police. Hence, this court is of the considered view that representation made by the petitioner is false and the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
