Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the basis of the Petition given by the Petitioner dated 10.8.2016, in respect of grant of patta to S.No.137A/3A2, New S.No.1497/38 & 39 of Athoor Village, Athoor Taluk, Dindigul District and pass orders in accordance with law within the time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

The Petitioner seeks for a direction to the the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the basis of the Petition given by the Petitioner dated 10.8.2016, in respect of grant of patta to S.No.137A/3A2, New S.No.1497/38 & 39 of Athoor Village, Athoor Taluk, Dindigul District and pass orders in accordance with law within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents..

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The grievance of the Petitioner is that the above said petition/representation submitted by the Petitioner to conduct enquiry on the basis of the Petition given by the Petitioner dated 10.8.2016, in respect of grant of patta to S.No.137A/3A2, New S.No.1497/38 & 39 of Athoor Village, Athoor Taluk, Dindigul District, has not been considered so far.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for and without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, I only direct the second respondent to consider the Petition/representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.8.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also by hearing other rival parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
