ORDER: The Court made the following order :- Today (10.06.2026), when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is submitted that at the time of filing the bail petition in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.8437 of 2026, the case records were available before the Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Thanjavur. Subsequently, the said case was transferred to the file of the learned Principal District Judge (NDPS Act Cases), Madurai, by proceedings dated 04.06.2026 and is presently pending before the said Court. Thereafter, this Court passed an order dated 08.06.2026 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8437 of 2026, directing the petitioner to satisfy the conditions before the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court under the Essential Commodities Act, Thanjavur District.

2.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed on the following terms:

(ii)The "satisfaction Court" mentioned in the order dated 08.06.2026 made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8437 of 2026 shall be modified as 2/4

the learned Principal District Judge (NDPS Act Cases), Madurai, instead of the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court under the Essential Commodities Act, Thanjavur, Thanjavur District. 3.Registry is hereby directed to carry out the necessary amendment.
