O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of respondents 3 to 5.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate pointed out that the petitioner is facing a murder trial. He is said to be a history sheeted rowdy.

4. Be that as it may, if the petitioner commits any offence, he has to be dealt with as per law. But on account of the petitioner's bad antecedents, his family members cannot be harassed. The petitioner gives an undertaking before this Court that as and when he is called upon to appear, he will definitely appear before the third respondent police and extend his fullest cooperation.

5. Recording the said undertaking given by the petitioner, the respondents are called upon to not to harass the members of the petitioner's family. I make it clear that this direction will not mean that they have done so earlier.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
