Maniyarasan Vs. The Government of Tamil Nadu reported in 2011 (1) CWC 379.

2.The petitioner wants to install a full size bronze statue of Marudhu Pandiar Brothers in her patta land. Since the petitioner faced obstruction from the respondents, this writ petition came to be filed.

3 W.P.(MD)NO.18166 OF 2020 3.Vide order 28.02.2025 in WA(MD)No.1386 of 2022, we had held that permission from the authorities is not required for erecting statues in one's private land. Hence, this writ petition has to be allowed. It is accordingly allowed. No costs.
