For Petitioners : Mr.K.Sivabalan For R1 : Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER This petition is filed seeking quashment of the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2023 dated 07.02.2023 on the file of the respondent No.1 police, which was registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 323, 506(i) and 354A IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the police have completed the investigation and they are ready to file the charge sheet, once the report from the Social Welfare Officer is received.

3.Considering the circumstances, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1 police to file the charge sheet as expeditiously as possible, not later than 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and after filing of the charge sheet, in case if the petitioners are advised, they are at liberty to 2/4

challenge the charge sheet. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
