ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to sanction educational loan to the petitioner within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.B.S.Meltiue, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner, in order to get educational loan, has made a request on 09.07.2019 to the respondent bank and the said representation is still pending and not been so far considered. W.P.(MD)No.18081 of 2019 appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondents, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.I have heard the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2019 would be considered on merits and necessary orders to that effect would be passed within a time frame. 5.Considering the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:
"The respondents are hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2019 with regard to the educational loan of the petitioner and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
