ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file final report in Crime No. 707 of 2020 pending before the respondent police.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed to file final report in Crime No. 707 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 147, 448, 294(b), 323, 427, 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 IPC, on the file of the second respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 707 of 2020 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
