O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 13.4.2016 for promotion form the post of Record Clerk to the post of Junior Assistant in the 3rd respondent School.

2. The case of the petitioner is that despite the request being made by the petitioner to the 3rd respondent for promotion from the post of Record Clerk to Junior Assistant and filing of application to that effect, his case has not been considered so far and that the 3rd respondent also issued paper publication for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Assistant. Therefore, aggrieved by the action of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking the direction stated supra. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side. Learned counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that the third respondent is prepared to consider the application of the petitioner and to pass suitable orders on the same.

4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the application dated 13.04.2016, submitted by the petitioner and to take a decision thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
