O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to provide police protection to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 21.06.2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner got her land surveyed and is intending to fence the land, however, she is apprehending that the third respondent may likely to intervene, thereby, she sought for police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that soon after receipt of the representation dated 21.06.2023, the same is numbered as C.S.R.No.301 of 2023, however, the petitioner never turned up to the Police Station even to take the receipt registered as C.S.R.No.301 of 2023. When the respondent Police tried to serve the receipt to the residence of the petitioner, it was informed that no such person was residing in that locality.

4. Considering the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to approach the Police in respect of the representation dated 21.06.2023 and on such appearance, after making enquiry, the respondents Police are 2/4

directed to dispose of the said representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
