ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.990 of 2019.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.990 of 2019 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 341 and 506(ii) IPC by the respondent police. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in the case in Crime No.990 of 2019 has been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai and the same is yet to be taken on file.

4. Since the investigation in this case has been completed and final report has been filed before the concerned Magistrate and the same is taken cognizance by the learned Magistrate, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
