This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime. No.74 of 2019, dated 10.06.2019 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent or any other competent authority on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 26.07.2019.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the victim girl was secured and produced before the Additional Mahila Court, Manaparai and she has also made a statement that she was married to one Kalaivanan, but, she did not like that marriage concerned. However, on her own she went along with one Vijaya Baskaran and after that she also married him. Recording the statement of the above said victim as well as the parents to the victim, the First Information Report has been closed by the concerned Magistrate by order dated 16.02.2022.

3. In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioner also is directed to get a copy of the closure report from the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side). However, if the petitioner is still aggrieved she has to work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings.
