4.Ayyavu 5.Mathivaanan 6.Mookusamy .. Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent No.3 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the representation dated 29.07.2019.

For Petitioner : Mr.R.Karunanidhi For Respondents : Mr.M.Muthumanikkam for R1 to R3 Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl. Side) Mr.M.Ganesh Kamu for R4 COMMON ORDER These petition have been filed seeking adequate police protection to them and their family.

2.Crl.O.P.(MD).No.12056 of 2019 has been filed by the wife of one Vellaisamy, who has alleged to have been involved in a murder case along with the husband of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.11529 of 2019.

3.Both the victims family and accused family are making allegations that they experienced threat at the hands of the other party. So they have made representation to the concerned authorities and based upon the representation made by the petitioner in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.12056 of 2019, the Inspector of Police, Silaiman has made a recommendation to the Tahsildar to initiate appropriate proceedings, since both the parties are making trouble with each other, in pursuance of the above said criminal cases. The learned Government Counsel is not in a position to inform the Court about the outcome of the above said recommendation.

4.The counsel for the Petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11529 of 2019 submitted that so far no action has been taken by the concerned Revenue Authorities.

5.Fresh enquiry be conducted by the first respondent namely Superintendent of Police, Madurai District by summoning all the parties concerned. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry further orders shall be passed by the third respondent. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After the process is over a report be submitted to the Registry.

6.With the above directions, both criminal original petitions stands disposed of.
