ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.525 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent for the offence under Section 143, 341, 290, 291, 286, 1/4

188 IPC r/w. Sections 84(2) and 122 of Motor Vehicles Act and Section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Nuisance Act. He has moved this petition to quash the said proceedings on the ground that he is working as a Watchman and he has not involved in the said offence and he is not having any antecedent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.525 of 2018 has already been completed, however, inadvertently, the final report has not been filed so far. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) undertakes that the final report would be filed as against the petitioner and other accused, within a period of one week from today.

3. Since it is reported that the respondent Police has completed the investigation in Crime No.525 of 2018 and the final report is also made ready, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if he is having any ground.
