Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the sessions Judge, Special Court for SC/ST(POA) Act, Dindigul to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day in Crime No.465 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent No.2 Police Station.

ORDER:- This Petition is coming upon for hearing on this day, upon perusing the petition and the earlier order of this Court dated 22/05/2020 and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Maharaja, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.Saravanakumar, Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on behalf of the Respondents, this Court made the following order:

This court directed the petitioners to surrender before the jurisdictional Special Court within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed on 25.05.2020 in Crl.OP(MD)No.5443 of 2020. The petitioners have sought for further extension of time of two weeks.

2. This court is satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioners in this petition and therefore, two weeks time is granted to surrender before the jurisdictional Special Court. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
