The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 12.06.2025 and filed this writ petition, seeking a Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 12.06.2025, in accordance with law.
2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the complaint of this petitioner was treated as a petition enquiry in CSR number 198 of 2025 and after conducting a preliminary enquiry, they have closed the complaint as the issue is civil in nature. They have also advised the petitioner to work out his remedy before the civil court.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, enabling him to work out his remedy before the appropriate Forum. No costs.
