ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner seeks cancellation of patta issued in the name of the second respondent. Representation has also been given in this regard.

3.The first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, issue notice to all the interested persons including the private respondent herein and pass order on merits and in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
