Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent herein in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B4/15529/2015, dated 27.7.2016 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondent herein to issue patta to the Petitioner in respect of his land in S.No.329/28 in Manikandi Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of the respondent/Tahsildar rejecting the request of the Petitioner for grant of patta.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.Needless to say that as against the order passed by the respondent/Tahsildar, the Petitioner has a statutory remedy by way of appeal before the appellate authority. Hence, without exhausting such remedy available to him, filing of the present Writ Petition cannot be entertained. Therefore, the Writ Petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is dismissed, however, granting liberty to the Petitioner to file appeal before the appellate authority within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such appeal is filed, the same shall be considered by the appellate authority without reference to any delay.
