ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(b), 147, 148, 341, 342, 302, and 149 of I.P.C., in P.R.C.No.7 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.The petitioner was absent during the trial in P.R.C.No.7 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District. Therefore, Non-Bailable Warrant came to be issued .

CRL OP(MD). No.14383 of 2020 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5.Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and to file a petition to recall the NBW issued against him. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders on the same day.
