This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 7 to take necessary action against the unlicensed match box factory and storing red phosphorus in the residential area premises by the eighth respondent and consequently, to seal and close down the eighth respondent's match box factory.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that the match box factory that was run by the eighth respondent without licence, was sealed on 28.02.2022. The written instruction received from the fourth respondent/Tahisildar, Kovilpatti, was also placed before this Court.
3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
