This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.2 of 2017 registered on the file of the first respondent.
2.The defacto complainant is one Balaji. The defacto complainant and the victim are present before this Court in person. They have been duly identified by Mr.M.Rex, the Sub Inspector of Police attached to Devakottai Town Police Station. A joint memo of compromise dated 17.11.2021 has also been filed. Crl.O.P(MD)No.15349 of 2021 complainant does not want to pursue the complaint, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. In the interest of justice, the impugned FIR is quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed.
