PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondent Nos.2 & 3 to grant permission and protection for conducting "Kabadi Tournament" scheduled to be held on 11.12.2020 and 12.12.2020 at T.Palaiyur Village, Thiravathavur, Melur, Madurai District.

This Writ Petition has been filed to set aside the impugned rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent and consequently direct the respondent Nos.2 & 3 to grant permission and protection for conducting "Kabadi Tournament" scheduled to be held on 11.12.2020 and 12.12.2020 at T.Palaiyur Village, Thiravathavur, Melur, Madurai District.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
