ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The contempt petition has been filed as against the order passed in W.P.(MD) No.17233 of 2018 dated 23.07.2019, whereby a compliance report was recorded and this Court had directed the official respondents to ensure that there shall not be re-encroachments or fresh encroachments in the lands in S.No.312 in Kumulur Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District. The petitioners states that after the order was passed, a couple of encroachments by way of huts have been put up in S.No.312 and hence, he filed the present contempt petition.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader produced a copy of written instructions dated 19.12.2020, wherein, it is stated that after the order was passed in the writ petition, they had removed the fresh encroachments made by one Saravanan in S.No.312 and had demolished the
huts also. In view of the removal of these encroachments, no further effective order can be passed in this petition. The respondents herein shall ensure that as per the earlier direction of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.17233 of 2018 dated 23.07.2019, no fresh encroachments or re-encroachments shall be made in the subject land.
