ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2017, to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in Survey No.1431/1, Part-II, Veppilangulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2.Heard Mr.S.Micheal Heldon Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.In order to get patta after making correction in the UDR patta in respect of the land in S.No.1431/1, Part-II, Veppilangulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner has given a representation/application to the respondent on 28.04.2017 and the said representation is yet to be decided and the same is still kept pending. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondent on merits, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

W.P.(MD)No.17940 of 2019 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2017 would be decided on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2017 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
