ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to construct and regulate flow of drainage and sullage in West street (Melatheru), Karkadu, Suchindrum post, Kanyakumari District within the jurisdiction of the third respondent Panchayat by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2016.

2.Though such a prayer was sought for in the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that if a direction is given by this Court to the respondents, especially, the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2016 and to pass orders, the petitioner would be satisfied.

3.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.S.Chandra Sekar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the third respondent and with the consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.Since the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is suffice to give a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.02.2016, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.02.2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
