PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider and pass appropriate orders on the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 19.10.2020 filed against the removal of service passed by the 3rd respondent herein dated 09.10.2020 by its proceeding No.Pa.A.Pi.4/2/2020, dated 09.10.2020, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal, dated 19.10.2020 filed against the removal order passed by the 3rd respondent, dated 09.10.2020 in No.Pa.A.Pi.4/2/2020. 1/3
2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that a case in Cr.No.408 of 2015 has been registered as against him and based on the said criminal case, he was placed under suspension, vide order dated 11.12.2015. Challenging the same, though he has preferred an appeal on 19.10.2020 before the respondents 1 and 2, no action has been taken on the same so far. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.It is the main contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that appropriate directions may be issued to the respondents to dispose of the appeal, dated 19.10.2020 as the petitioner is now jobless.
5.In reply, Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the petitioner's appeal, dated 19.10.2020 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.
6. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal dated, 19.10.2020 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
