The petitioner has filed a Revision petition before first respondent/ the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram on 03.07.2023, under the Patta Pass Book Act and has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition within the stipulated time. 2.The petitioner has filed the Revision Petition only on 03.07.2023 and filed this writ petition on 06.07.2023 even before the revision petition has been numbered by the first respondent. 2/5

3.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, the learned counsel has made his request that a direction may be issued to the first respondent to consider his application for grant of stay.

4.Considering the request of the petitioner's counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the stay application, if any filed by this petitioner along with the revision petition within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
