The accused in Crime No. 173 of 2023, have filed this application to quash the FIR pending against them.

2.Initially, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the parties have amicably resolved their issue. Based on this statement, the case was posted for the appearance of the parties. However, the parties have not appeared before this Court. Thereafter, there is no representation for the petitioners. Then, the matter was listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the dispute between the parties is amicably settled. He further submits that the parties are in Kerala and they are not in a position to appear before this Court. 3.Since the parties are not present before this Court, without verifying the genuineness of the compromise, this Court cannot quash the proceedings 2/4
