O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is preferred by the plaintiff in O.S.No.183 of 2021 on the file of the I Additional District Court, Madurai. In this Civil Revision Petition, the petitioner/plaintiff seeks for a direction to the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.183 of 2021, in a speedy manner, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Since this Civil Revision Petition filed by the petitioner/plaintiff is only for speedy disposal of suit, the notice for the respondents/defendants is not required and is therefore dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner/plaintiff, the petitioner/plaintiff is aged about 70 years and suffering from various ailments and despite being the case Page No. 2 of 4

listed for cross-examination, the respondents/defendants are getting adjournments without any reasons. It is submitted that the intention of the respondents/defendants is to drag on the proceedings which causes great hardship to the petitioner/plaintiff.

4. On perusal of the records and the contentions put forth by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is given to the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.183 of 2021, without giving any unnecessary adjournments, by affording sufficient opportunities to the parties to put forth their contentions, expeditiously, within a period of 1 year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No cost.
