PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to direct the second respondent to investigate the case and to file a final report in Crime No.203 of 2019 within time frame. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.203 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.203 of 2019 has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 448, 294(b), 324, 363 and 506(2) IPC by the respondent police on 21.06.2018. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation on the complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11698 of 2019 given by the petitioner is substantially completed and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.203 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
