PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet No.178 of 2004 which was maintained by the third respondent police, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2020. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet No.178 of 2004 which was maintained by the third respondent police, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2020.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would reiterate the contentions raised in the petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2020 will be considered within a period of four weeks.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondents police are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2020, seeking to remove his name from the history sheet No.178 of 2004, in the light of the Police Standing Order and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
