Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to issue appropriate direction to the respondent to file a final report in the case registered in FIR No.6 of 2017 dated.02.06.2007.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to to issue appropriate direction to the respondent to file a final report in the case registered in FIR No.6 of 2017.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 29.08.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor sought time to get instructions with regard to the stage of First Information Report. On that ground, the matter was ordered to be listed today. 3.Today(28.10.2021), the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would circulate 'action dropped report', wherein, it has been stated that as per G.O(2D) No.01, dated 03.01.2019, on the basis of the recommendation made by the Investigating officer, further action dropped against the second accused, namely, Padmavathy and the third accused Annadurai and insofar as the other accused namely, Balakumar, Parthasarathi, departmental action was ordered to be initiated. So, on that ground, the petition was moved before the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge, Thanjavur @ Kumbakonam, seeking closure of the First Information Report vide letter dated 13.02.2019. The Special Judge by order dated, 20.03.2019, based upon the above said Government order, ordered further action ordered to be dropped against Padmavathy and Annadurai.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.14673 of 2021 5.Since further action has been dropped, nothing survives for further consideration or direction. The petitioner's counsel can get the copy of the government order or closure report from the office of the Additional Public Prosecutor. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, he can work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
