The writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to return/release the gift settlement deed, dated 21.10.2016, executed by Subramaniam in favour of the petitioner and submitted for registration with the respondent under receipt Document Number P201600107, dated 21.10.2016.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the document sought to be released has already been released.

3. Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
