Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take steps to close the illegal aqua culture industries and illegal shrimp farms situated at Ramnad District and in particularly Salaivalasu Erumeni Panchayat Union, Uchipulli Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2016 within a stipulated period fixed by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the first respondent to take appropriate steps to close illegal aquaculture industry, which is being run by the second respondent, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended that the first respondent has illegally permitted the second respondent to conduct aquaculture industry in the place mentioned in the petition and the same creates so many diseases and the petitioner has given a representation on 15.11.2016. But the same has not been considered and therefore the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has also equally contended to the effect that the application given by the second respondent has been rejected and against the rejection order, the second respondent has filed a writ petition.
4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the writ petition cannot be granted. 5.In fine, this writ petition is dismissed without costs.
