Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 483(1)(b) of Bharatiya Nagark Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (439(1) (b) of Cr.P.C.,) to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P(MD)No.270 of 2024 dated 18.07.2024 insofar as para No.9 condition No.ii. For Petitioners : Mr.A.Balaji For Respondent : Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.9(ii) imposed in Crl.M.P(MD)No.270 of 2024 dated 18.07.2024 on the file of the Special Court under TNPID Act Cases, Madurai.

2.The petitioner was enlarged on bail in Crl.M.P(MD)No.270 of 2024 dated 18.07.2024 on the file of the Special Court under TNPID Act Cases, Madurai, on certain conditions, one of which is follows: "9. (ii) the petitioner shall produce a copy of a title deed either in the name of her or in the name of any of her relatives for a property worth about Rs.10,00,000/- by way of security for her appearance. "

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no property in the name of petitioner and her relatives. Hence, she is not able to comply with the above said condition. Hence, he prayed for modification of the aforesaid condition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the aforesaid condition is modified to the effect that, "the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-to the credit of Crime No.12 of 2024 ". Rest of the conditions shall remain the same.

6.With the above modification, this petition is ordered accordingly.
