PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the first respondent to take necessary steps to file a Charge Sheet in FIR Crime No.435 of 2016, dated 20.04.2016. For Petitioner : Ms.J.Bala Meenakshi For R1 : Mr.V.Neelakandan Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for directing the respondent to file Charge Sheet in Crime No.435 of 2016.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the FIR in Crime No.435 of 2016 is pending, without filing the Charge Sheet till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that Charge Sheet has been made ready on 23.09.2018 and he prays four weeks time for filing Charge Sheet.

5. Considering the submission, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file the Charge Sheet in Crime No.435 of 2016, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
